Welcome to My Heavenly Mother Blog!
I started this handle with the quest to bring about more recognition of the Divine Feminine, or rather, My Heavenly Mother, as I refer to Her. I wanted this to be a safe space, where I could share about my findings, studies, view points, and the spirit. To testify of the validity of the Mother God and where we find Her in our teachings as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I wanted to direct people to credible sources that supported either a doctrinal or scholarly standpoint. I wanted to help end the debunked "Sacred Silence" on the Mother, and encourage others to find the information we have on Her.
I wanted to create a safe and connected network for my audience. A space where people could be free to share insights, a myriad of perspectives, and have access to greater information than what they had previously understood. To feel inspired and find encouragement to share their faith and this information with others.
And most of all. I wanted to honor Mother. Whom we are in the similitude of. Our Cocreator of the Plan of Salvation and Creator of our spirits. The one whose influences touches the pages within each of our canonical books. Whom can be found in the earliest forms of historical writings. Whom is shown as a myriad of archetypes in ancient mythology and religious theology. Whom we have enough evidence on to assume that She was worshipped in the first temple era. And whom we regard with the highest form of reverence, adoration, and admiration. The Goddess of the Most High. Our Creator and Exemplar. The Mother of our Souls.
