New Testament Study Resources

myheavenlymother

Hi there, friends!

I wanted to share some of my favorite New Testament resources for studying with you. Whether or not you are studying Come Follow Me with the church this year, there are so many gems that we can glean about the Divine Mother from these resources. And if you are studying with Come Follow Me, I think this will really enrich your studies and give you a perspective of the lead females in Christ's story. One being his Mother and one being Mary Magdalene, debatably his wife.

DIVINE FEMININE BIBLE

Last week, I referenced the new Divine Feminine Version of the New Testament. Highly recommend that for anyone who has longed to read the scriptures with female pronouns, or as if they were addressing women - or for anyone who has longed to hear where the Mother would fit in scriptural context. I will say, there are many references to Mother in the typical King James' Version that we can find in Hebrew and Greek versions, without having to transform the pronouns, if you want accuracy. However, this version is incredibly stunning and a very therapeutic narrative. I've been deeply moved by it. Highly recommend. It can transform your life.

BIBLE HUB

Bible Hub is an amazing resource where you can access texts from all English versions of the bible, as well as the Interlinear Greek and Hebrew, getting closer to the actual meaning of the text. Many Hebrew and Greek terms speak of the divinity of the Mother. It is a fabulous resource and I highly recommend it.

COURSES

Another great resource I would recommend is taking Mandy Green's course on Mary Magdalene and the Holy Grail, as well as her course on Finding Heavenly Mother in the scriptures. It will reshape the way you read the scriptures. These give insight to these pivotal characters, their divinity, and their link to our Mother, and how they reflect Her as archetypes. And it is highly empowering for women to see their god-given capabilities coming into action from these texts. She shares various historical and cultural points of view and presents an option for Mary to have been even more esteemed, credited, and pure, than we've been taught to believe. Mandy also advocates the concept of her potentially being in a relationship with Christ.

APOCRYPHON

I also recommend checking out apocryphal books that correlate with the New Testament, including:

The Gospel of the Nativity of Mary and the Gospel of Pseudo Matthew describe Mary's immaculate conception and immaculate birth of Christ in a cave, with help by the Spirit (ruach in Hebrew, feminine being). The Gospel of Philip describes the mysteries of heaven - entering the kingdom of heaven as equal partners who are bonded together by love. The Gospel of Mary Magdalene is about Christ and Mary Magdalene's ascent through the 7 levels of the kingdoms, up to the 8th kingdom where the Divine Father and Mother dwell. Highly influential.

PODCASTS

There are a few excellent podcast episodes I would recommend:

These episodes with Mandy Green are so informative when it comes to the ascent vision. Margaret Starbird is world renowned for her literature and expertise on the subject of Mary Magdalene and her relationship with Christ. Turiya Hanover also speaks on the Time of the Feminine podcast and insists that Mary actually helped to initiate Christ through the esoteric ways.

BOOKS

Here are some excellent book reads:

Each of these depict Mary's central role in Christianity.

SCRIPTURES

As far as scriptures go, I would go and compare the books of the gospel - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I'd seek out instances that speak about Mary of Nazarene (the Mother), and Mary Magdalene - particularly the ones that speak about Christ being anointed, head and foot with spikenard, the holiest of oils, by Mary.

CONCLUSION

There are so many gems to be discovered within the New Testament, and so many beautiful aids to help us on this road to discovery. I hope these resources aid you in your studies this year! I hope the new year has been treating you all well. Take care and good luck on your journey. I am always happy to chat about your insights, concerns, questions, and findings.

Warmest regards,

Krystal Barnes
